Broadwaters Children’s Centre offers a timetable which is planned around the needs of the families who live in our local area.  We regularly consult with our families to ensure we are running the best services for them.

Our latest survey with parents revealed that 96% of families felt that attending the children’s centre had helped them to meet new people or make new friends. 95% of families felt that attending the centre had helped their child’s development and 88% of families felt that the centre had helped them to improve their parenting skills.  Comments included ‘The children’s centre is an integral part of Tottenham’, 'Anytime I needed them, they were there for me and my daughter' and ‘The staff are professional, friendly and helpful.  There are many events that bring the community together.  It’s a safe environment for children and families’

The children’s centre is here to help you and your family.
Come and join in the fun at our very popular stay & play sessions.
At ‘Muck around Monday’ and 'Friday Stay & Play' you and your child can enjoy getting messy together and every session ends with a joyful song and story time.

Broadwaters Children’s Centre is the perfect place for new parents to meet.  Sensory Superstars our group for babies aged 0-18months runs every Monday and Friday afternoon. Come and explore together the treasure baskets and then as your baby gets older you can bounce around in our soft play area.

If you are struggling with debts or need benefits or immigration advice you can make an appointment to see Citizens Advice on Friday mornings.

Broadwaters Children’s Centre can also help you to get back to work.  We run a range of family learning classes which can help you to prepare.  Job Centre Plus are in our centre every Friday and Paddington Development Trust are in on Monday mornings and we have an internet cafe in our foyer which parents can use to apply for jobs/write their cv or apply for benefits. If you need to gain some experience or build up your confidence, you can join our volunteering scheme which has successfully helped parents to gain employment or to attend college.

Some of our families need extra support and our Early Intervention Outreach Workers are here to help them.  This help may include filling out forms, help to attend appointments, behaviour management and parenting support.  The Early Intervention Outreach Workers are available for appointments during the stay and play sessions and are available at all times to help you. No problem is too big or too small.
